Abstract:
A natural gas leak warning system and method using an outdoor display screen (103), the system being characterized in that: when a natural gas leak occurs inside a residential building in a city in which a natural gas leak warning platform (101) resides, the natural gas leak warning platform may send the position information and the building name of the residential building in which the natural gas leak occurs and the names of streets around the residential building in which the natural gas leak occurs to an outdoor display screen monitoring platform (102) by means of an Internet of Things; when the outdoor display screen monitoring platform (102) determines that there is a target outdoor display screen (103) in a working state on a street to which the street names belong, the platform sends natural gas leak warning information comprising the position information and the building name of the residential building in which the natural gas leak occurs to the target outdoor display screen (103) by means of the Internet of Things; and the target outdoor display screen (103) outputs the natural gas leak warning information. By means of said system and method, a natural gas leak occurring inside of a residential building may be known by those elsewhere in time, thereby preventing a serious safety accident.
