Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a natural gas liquefier equipped with a C3 cooler capable of using a simple configuration to cool natural gas and cool a liquefying refrigerant for liquefying natural gas. [Solution] This natural gas liquefier 1 is equipped with a C3 cooler 31, 37 that uses propane or propylene as a refrigerant. A compressor 35 compresses gas refrigerant flowing out from the C3 cooler 31, 37. A desuperheater 21 cools the gas refrigerant in the gaseous state, and an integrated cooler 22 uses the front tube portion of a tube 202 of an air-cooled heat exchanger 2 as a condenser for cooling and condensing the gas refrigerant. Furthermore, the rear tube portion of the tube 202 is used as a subcooler portion that further cools liquid refrigerant after condensation. A temperature adjusting unit 354 adjusts the temperature of the liquid refrigerant flowing out from the integrated cooler 22 by changing the heat transfer area ratio between the heat transfer area of the front tube portion and the heat transfer area of the rear tube portion.
