Provided is a natural plant insect repellent spice composition for use in an air conditioner, wherein the preparation process comprises three steps: raw material preparation, raw material drying by baking, and batching and pulverization; fresh Syzygium aromaticum, folium artemisiae argyi, radix angelicae dahuricae, folia perillae acutae, peppermint, rose, Agastache rugosus, honeysuckle and jasmine are selected as the raw materials and are washed with an aqueous ethanol solution at a weight percent concentration of 3-5%, and are then respectively placed in a dryer for drying by means of baking and sterilization; then various raw material components with the same weight are respectively weighed and mixed, and are delivered into a clean pulverizer after mixing; and the raw materials are pulverized to 100-200 mesh, and are fully stirred to obtain a spice composition with a natural recipe. The composition uses a natural plant recipe, is pollution-free, is dispersed over a large area by the wind, and can effectively expel insects and increase the freshness of the air. The product is an elegant indoor decoration, has a simple structural design, and is easy to install; and the use thereof is environmentally friendly.
