A navigation device for mounting on a vehicle, having a position detection means (12) for detecting the position of user’s vehicle; an input means (18) for inputting a destination; and a route search means (17) for searching for a route from the position of the vehicle detected by the position detection means up to the destination inputted by the input means. The navigation device further has a traffic information acquisition means (10) for acquiring traffic information from the outside; a condition setting means (16) for setting conditions for filtering traffic information; a control means (14) for filtering the traffic information acquired by the traffic information acquisition means according to the conditions set by the condition setting means, thereby extracting traffic information that accords with the conditions; a list creation means (15) for creating a list based on the traffic information extracted by the control means; and an output means (19) for outputting the list created by the list creation means.
