Abstract:
Provided are a navigation map displaying method and system. The method comprises: conducting modeling in advance according to two-dimensional vector data of a road and the pre-set height of the road to obtain a three-dimensional road model corresponding to the road, compiling the three-dimensional road model into three-dimensional vector data corresponding to the road, and storing the three-dimensional road model and the three-dimensional vector data corresponding to the road (200); acquiring the three-dimensional vector data and the three-dimensional road model corresponding to the road to be displayed from the pre-stored three-dimensional road vector data and three-dimensional road models (201); and according to the three-dimensional vector data and the three-dimensional road model corresponding to the road to be displayed, conducting rendering in a navigation map to obtain a three-dimensional type road to be displayed (202). By means of the method and system, a three-dimensional road can be displayed in a navigation map. Thus, roads with stereoscopic staggered structure, such as overpasses or viaducts, can be displayed in a form of three-dimensional structure, and the staggered relationship between roads becomes relatively clear, thereby improving the navigation guidance effect.
