Abstract:
Disclosed are a navigation method and navigation device. The method comprises: determining whether a navigation path can be planned according to the locally stored navigation data in a navigation device (11); if not, then transmitting a navigation path planning request to a navigation server and receiving geometric data of each road section in the navigation path planned by the navigation server (12); according to the geometric data of each road section, determining an ingress node and an egress node of the navigation path in the region plane of each region corresponding to the locally stored navigation data (13); obtaining from the locally stored navigation data the attribute data of each road section in the local navigation path, and requesting from the navigation server the attribute data of each road section in the network navigation path (14); conducting navigation according to the geometric data and the attribute data of each road section in the navigation path (15). The method solves the problems in local navigation of low usage and low update efficiency, delayed update of navigation data, and large volume of network traffic due to network navigation.
