Abstract:
A navigation method for vehicle, comprising: obtaining a point of interest according to a current vehicle position on a driving route, in which a search area of the point of interest is located at a certain distance ahead of current vehicle position along the route. The search center or start point for POI searching is brought forward (considering vehicle mobility) instead of current car position being the search center or start point for POI searching, so that the driver can have more time to react for the upcoming point of interest such as gas station, shopping mall or the like, also the area for search calculation is advanced so that unnecessary calculation on the part of the area closing to the car itself can be eliminated.
