Abstract:
Provided are a navigation server, etc., with which it is possible to inform a user via a navigation client of the meaning of a result of a route search with a primary circumstance taken into account. With this navigation server (100), a verification is made as to whether a first index value (e1) which represents a degree of effect which a passage along a search route which joins a user's present location (p1) and the user's destination (p2) incurs from a prescribed primary circumstance exceeds a first threshold (ε1). If the first index value (e1) of a prior search route (R1) exceeds the first threshold (ε1), a route (R2) is searched again to lower the first index value (e1). If the first index value (e1) of either the search route (R1) or (R2) is less than or equal to the first threshold (ε1), "verification information" to this effect is made recognizable in a navigation client (200) together with the search route.
