Abstract:
A navigation system (1) is provided with a computation processing unit for carrying out: information provision processing in which if a guidance route has not been set, information about a set normal travel route is provided using an information output device (32, 35); normal travel route setting processing in which a standard route is set as the normal travel route; cause specification processing in which if a user travels along a special route that is different from a standard route, the cause of the special travel is specified; and special change processing in which instead of the standard route, the special route is set as the normal travel route on the basis of a condition that varies depending on the specified special travel cause.
