Abstract:
This navigation system comprises: a route determining device that has a map information unit that stores map information, and a route information presenting unit that chooses at least one route candidate on the basis of information that indicates a start point and a goal point in the map information; and a network controller that acquires and stores operational information of base stations, wherein the network controller acquires the at least one route candidate from the route determining device and supplies, to the route determining device, the operational information of the base stations corresponding to respective areas on the at least one route candidate, and the route information presenting unit presents, on the basis of the acquired operational information of the base stations, at least a route candidate over which continuous communication is possible from the start point to the goal point.
