Abstract:
A navigation system, a terminal device, a navigation server, a navigation device, a navigation method, and a navigation program which are capable of supplying effective guidance information to a user on the basis of images taken of a boarding guidance presentment that can be imaged in the premises of a railroad station, are intended to be provided. Said navigation system is such that an imaging unit is controlled, resulting in an image being taken of a boarding guidance presentment of a means of transportation; that identification is made of displayed contents on the basis of the image taken of the boarding guidance presentment; determination is made of the track, the railroad station name, and the travel direction, at the place where the user is present, on the basis of the displayed contents which are thus identified, and traffic network data which are stored in a memory unit; that the names of the railroad stations which exist in the travel direction are extracted from the traffic network data on the basis of the track, the railroad station name, and the travel direction, at the place where the user is present; guidance information is generated which contains at least some of the railroad station names thus extracted; and that at least a portion of the information generated is output via an output unit. Thus the items which are intended to be provided, are provided.
