Abstract:
An NdFeB system sintered-magnet manufacturing apparatus, which fills NdFeB system alloy powder into a mold cavity of a mold with a prescribed packing density, and conducts magnetic field orientation and sintering with the alloy powder filled within the mold cavity, comprises: a first weight-measurement unit (10) for measuring the weight of the mold before filling the alloy powder thereto; a guide mounting section (11) for forming a supplying cavity with a prescribed capacity, by forming a guide on the mold so as to expand the mold cavity; a powder feeding unit (12) for feeding the alloy powder into the supplying cavity so that the amount thereof will become the same as the capacity of the supplying cavity, during which the supplying density thereof is adjusted as well; a filling unit (13) for thrusting the alloy powder in the supplying cavity into the mold cavity, and making the mold cavity more high-density up to the packing density; a second weight-measurement unit (14) for measuring the weight of the mold after filling the alloy powder thereto; and a control unit (15) for calculating the weight of the alloy powder filled into the mold cavity, from the difference between the values measured at the first weight-measurement unit (10) and the second weight-measurement unit (14), and conducting a feedback control of the feeding operation by the feeding means on the basis of that weight.
