Abstract:
A near-eye display device comprises: a light source device (1) configured for use in sequentially emitting a plurality of monochromatic light beams; a light guiding device (2) configured for use in receiving the plurality of monochromatic light beams from the light source device and directing the monochromatic light beams to be emitted from a light emergent side of the light guiding device; a display panel (3) located at the light emergent side of the light guiding device, comprising a plurality of pixels, and configured for use in receiving the plurality of monochromatic light beams from the light guiding device and controlling color and gray scales of emergent light beams of the plurality of pixels; and a light splitting device (4) located at a light emergent side of the display panel and configured for use is splitting a light beam emitted by a single pixel of the plurality of pixels into a plurality of sub-light beams that are directed to a plurality of viewpoints of a human eye respectively. Also disclosed is a near-eye display method.
