Abstract:
A near-field communications element (23) having a configuration whereby at least part of a section on the opposite side to a base plate (26) in a coil (29) section of a coil element (27) is covered by a cover (31) and part of this cover (31) is directly or indirectly fixed to the base plate (26). As a result, large fluctuations in interference and large reductions in magnetic field strength can be prevented even if a metal display unit outer peripheral frame (34) is present in the vicinity when this near-field communications element (23) is mounted to any kind of electronic device (4), and, consequently, reduction in reception sensitivity can be suppressed.
