Abstract:
A near-infrared blocking filter which is provided with: an absorption film that absorbs near-infrared light among the light incident thereon; a reflection film, on the upper surface of which the absorption film is arranged, and which reflects near-infrared light among the light that has passed through the absorption film; and a transparent substrate, on the upper surface of which the reflection film and the absorption film are arranged, and which transmits the light that has passed through the reflection film. The absorption film is composed of: a polymer that is configured of a repeating unit having a hydrophobic group and a repeating unit having a hydroxyl group; and an organic dye having a hydroxyl group, which is dispersed in the polymer and absorbs near-infrared light. The repeating unit having a hydroxyl group in the polymer is vinyl alcohol.
