Abstract:
A near-to-eye display system for pupil expansion based on a diffractive optical element, comprising: a laser light source (1) or an LED light source; a diffusion sheet (2) disposed on an emergent light path of the laser light source (1) or the LED light source; a MEMS scanning mirror (3) disposed on an emergent light path of the diffusion sheet (2); a diffractive optical element (4) disposed on an emergent light path of the MEMS scanning mirror (3); a collimating lens module (5) disposed on an emergent light path of the diffractive optical element (4); a reflective mirror (6) disposed on an emergent light path of the collimating lens (5); and a reflective diffraction structure disposed on a reflective light path of the reflective mirror (6), to enable human eyes (9) to see superposed images of real world and virtual world. The near-to-eye display system can expand the angle of field of view while simplifying a production process and reducing processing difficulty and production cost.
