Description:

NEBULIZER - MAGNETIZER OF FUEL FOR COMBUSTION ENGINES Field of the Invention

The present invention hereby described, claimed for its fundamental characteristics and illustrated on the attached figures (a single drawing sheet, figures 1 and 2), refers to a nebulizer and magnetizer device of fuel for combustion engines, being fundamentally peculiar for the full nebulization or atomization of the fuel, followed by its magnetization in a magnetized means. Background of the Invention Many different devices to obtain fuel mixtures for combustion engines are know in the art. Such devices are represented by conventional carburetors and electronic fuel injection, processed in non magnetized means. However, such devices have several important drawbacks, among which the low energy conversion and the appearance of corrosive residues. The present invention has the objective of eliminating such drawbacks. Brief Description of the Drawings

The attached drawings illustrates the present invention, being Figures 1 and 2 front section views of the device at two successive moments of its functioning.

Detailed Description of the Preferred Embodiment

According to the invention, the device is essentially characterized for comprising inside a cylindrical body (1 ): two coaxial pipes (2) and (3) that slide along an equally cylindrical chamber (4), pipe (3) has a spinning movement around its longitudinal axis, such pipes (3 and 4) are intercommunicable among themselves and are separated from one another by a intermediate expansible-retractible spring (5), said pipe (2) presents an opening (6) corresponding to a similar opening (7) of said chamber (4), such openings (6 and 7) are used for the passage of the fuel from the

vehicle fuel tank to pipe (2); said pipe (3) equally comprises an opening (8) corresponding to a similar opening (9) of said chamber (4), such openings (8,9) are used for the exit of the fuel coming from pipe (2); pipe (2) also comprises on its end (10) a spinning screw (11 ) to regulate the passage of the fuel (which comes from the vehicle tank) to the interior of said pipe (2); pipe (3) equally comprises, on its end (12), a spinning screw (13) that regulates the passage of the fuel (from pipe (2)) to the exit openings (8 and 9); the device is also characterized for comprising a tilting arm (15) rigidly fixed on the end (12) of pipe (3), which controls the spinning motion of pipe (3), such arm (15) is fixed, by means of an equally tilting spindle (16), to a piston (17) on the top portion of body (1 ) above chamber (4).

The device also comprises, on the lower portion of body (1) and bellow chamber (4), a magnetized chamber (18) that comprises one or more magnets (19) and is linked to the combustion engine of the vehicle; the device also comprises openings (20) on the side walls of said piston (17) and corresponding to similar openings (21 ) on the side walls of said cylindrical body (1), such piston (17) rests on a expansible-retractile spring (22) fixed to body (1).

The functioning of the ensemble begins with the acceleration of the engine through piston (17) determining the amount of the admitting fuel, coming through pipe (3), in pipe (2) (where its nebulization happens) and the amount of air that comes into body (1 ) through the openings (20) and (21 ).

The amount of fuel that comes into pipe (2) is regulated by the opening (6) determined by the sliding advance or recoil of pipe (2) and controlled by the regulating screw (11). On the other hand, the amount of fuel that comes out of pipe (3) (coming from pipe (2)) is regulated by opening (8) determined by the sliding advance or recoil of pipe (3) and controlled by the regulating screw (13) and also by the spinning motion of

pipe (3) through the action of the piston (17) and arm (15), determining the position of opening (14) corresponding to said openings (8) and (9).

Also according to the invention, once the pressures of screw (11) on pipe (2) and of screw (13) on pipe (3) are released, they return to their original position (not pressed) by means of the intermediate spring (5) (as seen on Figure 1 ), the same thing occurs with the opening (14) accompanying the sliding recoil motion of pipe (3) (also seen on Figure 1 ).

The amount of air that comes into body (1) through the openings (20) and (21) (placed in a communicable manner among themselves) and of the fuel that comes out of pipe (3) through the openings (8) and (9) is exclusively determined by the piston (17) through the action of the accelerator of the engine, and the fuel coming out of pipe (3) becomes in contact with the magnets (19) when the magnetization happens even before its admission in the combustion chamber of the engine. Finally, according to the functional ensemble describe herein, the present invention secures the disintegration of the droplets generated bellow their critical size (Weber critical number) in the fuel/air mixture. The nebulization and the magnetization of the fluids originate the separation of the electrostatic charges within the own dispersion (tautomerization). Advantages of the Invention

The invention enables important advantages with its application, which are: a) reducing the fuel consumption by at least 25%, as it assures a perfect fuel/air ratio and a perfect diffusion of the mixture; b) works with either liquid or gaseous fuels; c) when unleaded gas is being used, there is no need to use a catalyser; d) it can be used in any position and it is practically insensitive to the variations of the atmospheric pressure; e) it does not demand additional expenditures compared to the installation costs of electronic fuel injection systems; f) works with all combustion engines and with any fuel (gaseous fuels, gasoline, ethanol, methanol, etc.), being

substantial, because of its special importance, to the practically total elimination of the polluting agents generated by the incomplete burn of the fuel which occurs in the conventional devices (carburetors or electronic injection). Tests, which were carried out using the present invention, obtained highly satisfactory results such as CO = 0.01% VoI and HC 21 ppm Vol. Besides the afore mentioned advantages, the present invention enables the elimination of the air mass measuring device; the elimination of injectors; the elimination of high pressure fuel pumps and, finally, the elimination of the Lambda sensor. Detailed Description of the Drawings

On the attached Figures, as it was previously mentioned, Figures 1 and 2 show the device at two successive moments of its functioning, be it in regard to the admission of fuel inside pipe (2) or be it in regard to the exit of the fuel from pipe (3), representing, in a special manner, the passage flow variation of the fuel at these two moments. On Figure 1 , the openings (6) and (7), the openings (8) and (9) and the openings (20) and (21) are completely open, enabling the maximum flow of the fuel that comes into pipe (2) as well as of the air that comes into body (1 ).

Figure 2 illustrates the possibility of regulating such openings, determined by the action of the sliding tubes (2) and (3) an by the spinning motion of said tube (3) by the action of the arm (15) driven by piston (17).
