Abstract:
A neck cover (51), comprising a flexible cover member (53) and a mounted part (52) for mounting the flexible cover member (53) on the head part protective body (3) of a full face type helmet (1). The flexible cover member (52) further comprises a generally plate-like flexible cushion member (56) formed mainly of a generally plate-like foam synthetic resin in the range of 0.1 to 10 cc/cm2.sec (desirably 0.2 to 5 cc/cm2.sec, more desirably 0.3 to 2 cc/cm2.sec) in air permeability measured by using the fragile shape method according to JIS L 1096 and a flexible support member (57) supporting the cushion member (56). Thus, wind noise produced when traveling air is entrained in a ventilator and a stabilizer can be effectively prevented from giving, as large noise, to a person who wears the helmet.
