Abstract:
A neck muscle strength exercise apparatus is disclosed. The disclosed neck muscle strength exercise apparatus comprises: a main body part; a seat part installed at the front end portion of the main body part and supporting the buttocks of a user so that the user may sit thereon; a backrest part installed at the rear end portion of the main body part and supporting the back of the user in a state where the user is seated on the seat part; and a push exercise part installed on the backrest part and strengthening the neck muscles of the user by applying resistance by means of a motion of the user, seated on the seat part, of pushing the head thereof backwards. The push exercise part comprises: a pair of fixed bars extending to the front from both sides of the backrest part; a pair of rotating bars installed so as to be rotatable with respect to the pair of fixed bars; a connection bar formed so as to connect the ends of the pair of rotating bars so as to be linked in accordance with the rotation of the pair of rotating bars; a head contacting part installed on the middle portion of the connection bar and making contact with the back of the head of the user; an exercise load providing part installed so as to connect the rotating bars and the backrest part, and applying resistance to the neck of the user by means of a motion of the user of pushing the head contacting part backwards; an exercise range detection sensor installed on a joint part, which rotatably connects the rotating bars and the fixed bars, detecting an exercise range value resulting from the rotation of the rotating bars, and outputting the detected exercise range value; and an exercise intensity detection sensor installed on the exercise load providing part, detecting an exercise intensity value by measuring a force resulting from the motion of the user of pushing the head contacting part, and outputting the detected exercise intensity value.
