Abstract:
A device for manufacturing sewing thread with a needle by automatically feeding a curved needle to a predetermined position one by one and in accurate direction characterised in that a passage forming member (32) having a needle accommodating portion (42), passages (44, 46) and a needle discharging tray (55) in that order is vibrated so as to move needles (N) accommodated in the needle accommodating portion (42) to the needle discharging tray (55) along the passages (44, 46), and that selecting portions (48, 50, 52) each having a specific passage configuration are provided at intermediate positions along the passages (44, 46) so as to allow a needle having a predetermined set posture to pass therethrough in that posture.
