Abstract:
The present invention provides a needle guard position adjustment device (40) capable of adjusting the radial position of a needle guard plate (26) with high accuracy. The needle guard position adjustment device (40) is provided on a rotating hook (20) in which a blade tip part (25) tapered toward the downstream side of a rotation direction and a needle guard plate (26) tapered toward the upstream side of the rotation direction are disposed, and includes a cam member (50) disposed inward from the needle guard plate (26) and in contact with the needle guard plate (26) and a cam-fitting plate (41) displaceable in a direction perpendicular to an axis of rotation (L1). In the cam-fitting plate (41) are formed a first through-hole (43) and a second through-hole (44) comprising a long hole extending in the direction of approaching and separating from the cam member, the distance (D1) between the center axis (Q1) of the first through-hole (43) and a cam axis (L2) being shorter than the distance between the center axis (Q1) of the first through-hole (43) and the center axis (Q2) of the second through-hole (44).
