Abstract:
This needle holder (20) is provided with: an elongated flexible tube section (21) having flexibility and capable of being inserted through the treatment device channel (9) of a soft endoscope (2); a first gripping member (23) connected in a pivotable manner to the front end of the flexible tube section (21); and a second gripping member (26) provided at the front end of the flexible tube section (21). The second gripping member (26) is tilted so that, in a state in which a curved needle is gripped between a first gripping surface (25) of the first gripping member (23) and a second gripping surface (27) of the second gripping member (26), the region to be gripped of the curved needle, which is gripped between the first gripping surface (25) and the second gripping surface (27), will be located between the front end of the second gripping member (26) and the tip of the curved needle in the direction of the center axis of the second gripping member (26).
