Abstract:
A needle pointer-type meter configured in such a manner that the influence of the needle pointer on the operational characteristics of the meter is reduced to a minimum even if the needle pointer has a meandering shape. A needle pointer-type meter provided with: an indicator (1); indication plates (21, 22) having mark sections (211, 221) and arranged in such a manner that the indicator (1) is visible; a drive device (6) disposed behind the indicator (1) and having a needle pointer shaft (61) projecting to the indicator (1) side; and a needle pointer (7) rotating about the needle pointer shaft (61) as the rotation center axis (RC) to point to the mark sections (211, 221). The needle pointer (7) is provided with a detouring section (71) and a pointing section (72) which points to the mark sections (211, 221). That portion (P1) of the detouring section (71) which is farthest from the rotation center axis (RC) is located closer to the rotation center axis (RC) than the tip (P2) of the pointing section (72).
