Abstract:
A needle roller bearing retainer 20 comprises a metal-plate press-formed product including, as an integral body: a cylindrical portion 21 including a plurality of column portions 21a and a plurality of pockets 21b; one flange portion 23 which extends from an edge portion on one side in the axial direction of the cylindrical portion 21 toward the diametrically inner side, via a bent portion 22; and another flange portion 25 which extends from an edge portion on the other side in the axial direction of the cylindrical portion 21 toward the diametrically inner side via a bent portion 24. A radial direction dimension L1 of an outer curved surface 22a of the bent portion 22 provided between the cylindrical portion 21 and said one flange portion 23, and a thickness T1 of the end portion on said one side in the axial direction of the cylindrical portion 21 satisfy L1/T1≤1.4.
