Abstract:
The present invention prevents uneveness of needle rollers during assembly, is able to attain a roller filling rate similar to that of full-complement type rollers, and achieves a structure in which needle rollers will not interfere with a holding jig at the time of skew of the rollers during operation. This needle roller bearing is provided with a plurality of needle rollers (2) and a holding jig (3) for preventing dropping out of the needle rollers (2). The holding jig (3) has: a pair of rim parts (3a) disposed on axially opposite ends thereof; a plurality of columnar parts (3b) which connect radially outer-side portions of the pair of rim parts (3a) at a prescribed interval in the circumferential direction; and pockets formed for holding the needle rollers (2) by the pair of rim parts (3a) and the columnar parts (3b). The needle roller bearing is characterized in that the inner diameter faces of the columnar parts (3b) are positioned at the radially outer side of the pitch diameters of the respectively corresponding needle rollers (2), and an inter-roller space (rs) between two needle rollers (2) on the pitch diameter of the needle rollers (2) is set narrower than pocket spaces (cs) at contact positions between the needle rollers (2) and the corresponding columnar parts (3b).
