Abstract:
Provided are a novel needle tip protector that can be stably produced by resin molding such as injection molding, and a novel needle assembled body using the same. The invention provides a resin needle tip protector A-10 provided with a peripheral wall that is moved relative to a puncture needle A-16 in the needle axis direction to cover the needle tip A-20 of the puncture needle A-16, wherein the peripheral wall A-54 has a cylindrical section on the leading end side, the peripheral wall A-54 is provided with a thick-wall section A-70 on the base end side of the cylindrical section A-58, said thick-wall section A-70 including a portion having a wall thickness dimension greater than that of the cylindrical section A-58, and a mark A-98 from a gate for injecting a resin material during molding is provided on the thick-wall section A-70.
