Abstract:
The present invention provides a negative electrode active material which includes negative electrode active material particles. The negative electrode active material particles include silicon compound particles including a silicon compound (SiOx: 0.5≤x≤1.6). At least some of the silicon compound particles include crystalline Li2SiO3 and Li2Si2O5. Among the peak intensity A derived from Li2SiO3, the peak intensity B derived from Si, the peak intensity C derived from Li2Si2O5, and the peak intensity D derived from SiO2, which are obtained from a 29Si-MAS-NMR spectrum, peak intensity A or peak intensity C is the highest intensity, and peak intensity A and peak intensity C satisfy the relationship in formula 1, namely C/3≤A≤3C. Accordingly, provided is a negative electrode active material with which a slurry prepared when preparing a negative electrode of a secondary battery can be stabilized, said negative electrode active material being capable of improving initial charge/discharge characteristics and cycle characteristics when used as a negative electrode active material of a secondary battery.
