Abstract:
An embodiment of the present invention provides a negative electrode active material. This negative electrode active material contains particles represented by Li2+aAdTi6-bBbO14-c (wherein A represents at least one element selected from the group consisting of Na, K, Mg, Ca, Ba and Sr; B represents a metal element other than Ti; and a, b, c and d satisfy 0 ≤ a ≤ 5, 0 ≤ b ≤ 6, 0 ≤ c ≤ 0.6 and 0 ≤ d ≤ 3) and a carbon material that covers at least parts of the surfaces of the particles.
