Provided are a negative electrode active material of a tin-based ternary alloy A1-xBxSn5 and a preparation method therefor, with 0.01≤x≤0.99. Compared with other tin-based alloy materials, the negative electrode active material of the ternary alloy has an increased theoretical specific capacity and an increased cycle stability.
