Title:
NEGATIVE-ELECTRODE ACTIVE MATERIAL FOR USE IN ELECTRICAL DEVICE AND ELECTRICAL DEVICE USING SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/199783
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
This invention provides a negative-electrode active material, for use in an electrical device such as a lithium-ion secondary battery, that exhibits high cycle durability. Said negative-electrode active material for use in an electrical device contains an alloy that can be represented by chemical formula (1). (In chemical formula (1), M represents one or more metals selected from the group consisting of titanium, zinc, carbon, and combinations thereof; A represents unavoidable impurities; and x, y, z, and a represent mass percentages, with 0 < x < 100, 0 < y < 100, 0 < z < 100, 0 ≤ a < 0.5, and x+y+z+a = 100.) The D50 of secondary-particle diameters obtained by laser diffraction is greater than 0.01 µm but less than 20 µm.
