Abstract:
The present application relates to a negative electrode material, a preparation method therefor, and a use thereof. The negative electrode material comprises an active substance, a buffer layer located on a surface of the active substance, and a carbon layer, the buffer layer being formed on the surface of the active substance, and the carbon layer comprising an amorphous carbon material located on a surface of the buffer layer and a carbon nanomaterial extending towards and/or away from the buffer layer. In the particle structure of the negative electrode material, the buffer layer has a particular degree of toughness, which can effectively buffer volume expansion of the negative electrode material, and in addition, extension of the carbon nanomaterial also provides a particular buffering effect, which can further buffer the volume expansion of the negative electrode material, so that stress among particles of the negative electrode material during a charging or discharging process is reduced, thereby improving structural stability of the negative electrode material and further improving a cycling capacity retention rate of a battery.
