Abstract:
Gas generation during high-temperature conservation is suppressed to improve high-temperature conservation characteristics for a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery. In the negative electrode for non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery, a silicon-containing particle and graphite particle are provided. The graphite particle surface has a coat layer. The coat layer comprises a first coat material containing a particle that swells in a non-aqueous electrolytic solution, and a second coat material containing a water-soluble polymer material. The first coat material is present on the surface of the graphite particle. The mass ratio of the second coat material over the first coat material is greater than 1.
