Abstract:
The present invention provides a negative electrode plate that enables a zinc secondary battery to have a prolonged cycle service life. This negative electrode plate is for use in a zinc secondary battery and includes a polymer and a negative electrode active material containing ZnO particles and Zn particles. The negative electrode plate has, in a plan view, a normal reaction region and a reaction suppression region where negative electrode reaction progresses less than in the normal reaction region. The proportion of the reaction suppression region in the total region of the normal reaction region and the reaction suppression region is 30-75%. In the reaction suppression region, the content CA of the polymer with respect to 100 parts by weight of the content of the ZnO particles in the reaction suppression region is 0.5-6 parts by weight. In the normal reaction region, the content CB of the polymer with respect to 100 parts by weight of the content of the ZnO particles in the normal reaction region is 0-3 parts by weight, and is lower than CA.
