Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention is a negative-feedback based power amplifier structure. In the power-amplifier structure, an output signal envelope detector, an attenuator and an envelope amplifier sequentially connected are added between an output end and a power supply end of a power amplifier, such that the power amplifier, the output signal envelope detector, the attenuator and the envelope amplifier form a feedback loop. By comparing the envelope of a radio frequency input signal of the power amplifier and the envelope of a radio frequency output signal of the power amplifier, the envelope amplifier dynamically adjusts the power supply voltage of the power amplifier, such that a constant gain of the power amplifier can be realized, and the efficiency of outputting a modulated signal is greatly improved for the power amplifier.
