Abstract:
A plate plunger (17) that determines the servo ratio (SR) of the disclosed negative-pressure booster device (1) has an angled servo-ratio-determination surface (17c), which determines the servo ratio, at a corner between an outer surface of the plate plunger (17) and a surface of the plate plunger that faces a reaction disc (16). Said servo-ratio-determination surface (17c) comprises a surface (17f) that contacts the reaction disc and determines the servo ratio and a surface (17g) that does not contact the reaction disc. A variety of different servo ratios can be obtained by performing secondary processing such as cutting or grinding on just the servo-ratio-determination surface (17c) to change the outer diameter of the surface (17f) that contacts the reaction disc.
