Abstract:
A robot device that is can attach the surface of an object by negative-pressure suction, can move in a Y-axis direction and an X-axis direction, and is equipped with four sucker units, Y-axis actuators and X-axis actuators. The planar shape of the suckers forms one square divided into four quadrangles each having the same shape. The quadrangles are formed provided with two right-angle portions in a diagonal portion. One right angle of the two right-angle portions forms one of the four right angles of the square. Two of the sides that form a right angle of the sucker overlap with two of the edges that form a right angle of the square. One set of sides among two of the sides that form the other right angle of the sucker and two of the sides that form a right angle of the square intersect at an acute angle and the other set of sides intersect at an obtuse angle.
