Abstract:
The present invention relates to the technical field of mobile communications, and in particular to a neighbouring cell determination method and device, which are used for solving the technical problem that maintenance of the relationship between neighbouring cells is not accurate in existing ANR technology. In the embodiments of the present invention, after receiving a first cell identifier reported by a terminal after measuring, an RAN device may acquire position information about a cell where the terminal is located and position information about a cell corresponding to the first cell identifier, and thus can determine whether to add the first cell as a neighbouring cell of a second cell according to the acquired position information. In this way, performing determination based on position information can avoid as far as possible the case of adding a remote cell as a neighbouring cell of the cell where the terminal is located, save storage resources as much as possible, and can avoid unnecessary influence when the terminal performs switching.
