Disclosed are a nerve repair material, a preparation method and the use thereof. The nerve repair material comprises collagen, a polysaccharide substance, active factors and nerve-regeneration-promoting factors, and has a three-dimensional porous mesh structure, has no immunogenicity, can degrade in vivo, and can be in the form of a sheet or a hollow tube. The nerve repair material is prepared using the small intestine submucosa tissue as the raw material and subjecting same to steps such as the pre-processing of the tissue, virus inactivation, immunogen-removal, growth factor compounding, and freeze-drying. The nerve repair material is used in nerve repair medical instruments, can effectively protect the damaged nerve, can form a microenvironment for protecting the regeneration of the nerve, can promote the regeneration of the damaged nerve, and can also play the role of a barrier, effectively isolating the damaged part of the nerve from the surrounding tissues, and preventing the fibroblasts in the surrounding tissues from invading the damaged part of the nerve.
