Abstract:
A nesting data generation device generates nesting data for cutting a component from a work supported by a plurality of support projections. The nesting data generation device is provided with a nesting data generation unit which generates nesting data by arranging a shape of the component on the work. The nesting data generation unit executes an avoidance process for avoiding obstacles caused by the support projections, when the component having the shape is arranged on the work. By the nesting data generation device, when the component having the shape is arranged, the positions of the support projections are taken into account, adhesion of the component and the support projection and melting of the support projection can be prevented, and dropping and tilting of the component after the component is cut off can be prevented.
