Abstract:
Disclosed by the embodiments of the present invention are a network-communication function exception processing method and processing apparatus, terminal device, and computer storage medium, said method comprising: detecting a network communication function of a modem; if an exception has occurred in the network communication function of the modem, disconnecting the network connection between the modem and a current cell and setting the access priority of the current cell to be a second priority; searching for a cell corresponding to a radio access technology (RAT) supported by the modem, said cell comprising a first cell having access priority of the first priority, and a second cell having access priority of the second priority; if at least one target cell corresponding to an RAT supported by the modem is found, then selecting a designated cell according to the access priorities of each target cell of said at least one target cell; establishing a network connection between the modem and the designated cell. Using the embodiments of the present invention, it is possible to improve the efficiency of recovery from a network communication exception.
