Abstract:
A network configuration method and a related device. Said method comprises: an OLT broadcasting a first message to a plurality of ONUs, the first message being used to instruct each ONU to send its own network state information to the OLT; the OLT receiving a second message sent by the plurality of ONUs, the second message comprising the network state information of each ONU, and the network state information of a first ONU satisfying a preset condition; and the OLT sending a third message to the first ONU according to the second message, and sending a fourth message to a second ONU according to the second message, the third message being used to instruct the first ONU to disconnect from a target terminal, the fourth message being used to instruct the second ONU to establish a connection with the target terminal, and the target terminal being at least one terminal connected to the first ONU. The OLT can uniformly manage the ONUs, implementing the dynamic configuration of the global network. Some ONUs can be switched to an energy-saving state, reducing the overall energy consumption of the global ONUs. In addition, the problem of insufficient bandwidth resources of some ONUs can also be solved.
