Abstract:
Provided are a network configuration method and terminal, for enabling a provisioning profile to only be used for downloading an operational profile, and not for accessing other network servers. The method comprises: a terminal activating a target pre-set provisioning profile, wherein the target provisioning profile is used to provide the terminal with a network connection for downloading an operational profile; and the terminal setting, in an operating system (OS) of the terminal, a current network mode as a limited network connection mode, wherein the limited network connection mode is a network mode only allowing a local paper assistant (LPA) to use the network connection, so that the LPA downloads the operational profile through the network connection.
