Abstract:
Disclosed are a network connection detection method, a device, a terminal, and a computer storage medium. The method comprises: an access request carrying a specific unified resource locator is transmitted to a first server; an access response result of the first server with respect to the access request is acquired; when the access response result is such that no access response with respect to the access request is received, no hypertext transmission protocol (HTTP)-based network connection is established with a second server; and when the access response result is such that an access response with respect to the access request is received, an HTTP-based network connection is established with the second server; the second server being a server associated with the first server; and the established HTTP network connection being used for the terminal to transmit multimedia data to the second server or to receive multimedia data from the second server via the established HTTP network connection.
