Abstract:
Disclosed are a network connection method and apparatus, belonging to the technical field of networks. The method comprises: searching for a predetermined wireless access point; if the predetermined wireless access point is found, reading terminal information of a terminal, the terminal information including a terminal identity of the terminal and a terminal medium access control (MAC) address; and sending the terminal information to the predetermined wireless access point, forwarding, by the predetermined wireless access point, the terminal information to a network provisioning server, and after the terminal identity is memorized by the network provisioning server, adding the terminal MAC address into a permissible networking list located in the predetermined wireless access point to complete the network connection of the terminal. The apparatus comprises: an access point searching module, an information reading module and an information sending module. The disclosure can solve the problem of low network connection efficiency caused by inputting a mobile phone number into a terminal and verifying the information to connect to the network, and can achieve an effect of improving the network connection efficiency.
