Disclosed in an embodiment of the invention are a network connection method and related equipment. The network connection method comprises: transmitting, by a first terminal equipment, an identifier of a first mobile network to a server, wherein the first terminal equipment is within a coverage of the first mobile network; receiving first access point information transmitted by the server, wherein the first access point information comprises access point information acquired by the server according to the identifier of the first mobile network; transmitting second access point information to a second terminal equipment beyond a coverage of a mobile network; receiving a network connection request carrying third access point information and transmitted by the second terminal equipment, wherein the third access point information is identical to the second access point information and is among access point information accessible to the second terminal equipment; and accessing the first mobile network via an access point corresponding to the third access point information. By implementing the embodiment of the invention, a terminal equipment beyond a coverage of a mobile network can access the mobile network.
