Abstract:
The network control device is for carrying out control of a system that comprises multiple gateway devices connected to a predetermined network and multiple terminals. The network control device is provided with: a selection unit for selecting a first gateway device to be used by a first terminal on the basis of the connection quality between the first terminal and the multiple gateway devices; a tunnel construction unit for connecting the first terminal, by a tunnel, to each of other terminals that use the first gateway device; and a path control unit for carrying out path control such that when a second gateway device used by a second terminal as the communication destination of the first terminal is the same as the first gateway device, traffic from the first terminal to the second terminal passes through the tunnel between the first terminal and the second terminal, whereas when the second gateway device is different from the first gateway device, the traffic from the first terminal to the second terminal passes through the predetermined network.
