Abstract:
A network design system capable of designing a communication network that is compliant with the SLA and has an appropriate quality at an appropriate cost is provided. Selecting means 92 selects a record from every predetermined number of records in a modified cost/performance table. Parent topology searching means 93 searches for a parent topology that is a topology for which a topology modification amount is equal to or smaller than that in a selected record and which is a topology in a record in which a topology is registered. Topology deriving means 94 creates topologies according to the cost in the selected record. Performance estimating means 95 estimates the communication performance of the topologies. Topology deriving means 94 registers a topology having the highest communication performance among the topologies as a topology in the selected record. The performance estimating means 95 then determines whether or not the communication performance of the topology is within a range predetermined as a range of appropriate communication performance.
