Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a means for managing a plurality of network devices without being restrained by the length of power cables or number of power outlets. [Solution] A network device management device is divided into a master unit 2a and a slave unit 2b. Communication is ensured between the two units over a router using HTTP. The slave unit 2b manages connected network devices by controlling the relay of outlets 2b-01, 2b-02, 2b-03, 2b-04, 2b-05, 2b-06 for the slave unit. The master unit 2a requests information concerning the outlets from the slave unit, and the slave unit 2b provides the master unit with said information. The information that is provided is managed by one table regarding all of the slave unit outlets, and the source of the information of the table is provided to a management PC 1 as required.
