Abstract:
[Problem] To address interference occurring when multiple operators perform tests at different MEG levels simultaneously. [Solution] A network device 2 is characterized by being provided with: a frame identification unit 22a that, upon reception of a test start instruction from a control device 3, monitors, over a predetermined time period, whether or not an OAM frame of a preceding test having a level different from the MEG level of the network device 2 has arrived at the network device 2; and a CPU 24 that, upon detection by the frame identification unit 22a of the arrival of the OAM frame and determination that a test of the CPU 24 itself would influence the preceding test, provides a notification to that effect.
