Abstract:
A network equipment monitoring device (10) comprises: a repetitive alarm extraction unit (14) that extracts a group of alarms as a repetitive alarm from an alarm database (11), the group of alarms including an abnormality detection alarm and a recovery detection alarm that have repeatedly occurred regarding the same alarm content for the same network equipment (20) a predetermined number of times within a predetermined time period; an occurred recovery alarm pattern database (15) in which information on the repetitive alarm in a past case is accumulated together with the cause of the repetitive alarm; and an alarm pattern comparison unit (16) that compares the extracted information on the repetitive alarm with the information on the repetitive alarm in the past case and, when the similarity is determined to be higher than a predetermined threshold value, notifies a host device (30) of the cause of the repetitive alarm in the past case.
